Titan Medical Inc. Announces Appointment of Senior Vice President of Business Development

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/02/10 -- Titan Medical Inc. ("the Company") (TSX VENTURE: TMD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Joseph Talarico as the Senior Vice President, Business Development, a newly created position, for the Company. Mr. Talarico has been involved in the surgical medical device industry for over seven years, most notably with Intuitive Surgical, Inc. for five years.

From 2004 to 2009, Mr. Talarico held various positions with Intuitive Surgical, Inc., including Area Training Director (East Coast), Clinical Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager and Clinical Sales Representative. From 2003 to 2004, Mr. Talarico served as Territory Manager for U.S. Surgical Corporation training and selling laparoscopic equipment to general, thoracic, urology, and GYN surgeons in Upstate New York. Mr. Talarico holds a J.D., Law from Syracuse University College of Law and a B.S., Political Science and Sociology from University of Rochester.
